Johor, 20 May 2024 – The AMSC24 Johor Roadshow, held at St. Giles, was the second roadshow of the Aesthetic Medicine & Surgery Conference & Exhibition (AMSC) Malaysia. The event attracted aesthetic doctors and general practitioners from Johor and beyond, providing them with an exclusive preview of the upcoming AMSC Malaysia 2024 conference & exhibition in September.

As per the standard format of the roadshow, the day began with registration, breakfast, and networking. At 10 am, the session started with welcome remarks on behalf of the Malaysian Society of Aesthetic Medicine (MSAM) by Dr. Masilamoney, the President, and Dr. Aly, one of the Committee Member. The first presentation was by Ms. Frances Chan from KL Wellness, who discussed “The NOBEL Healthcare Park Introduction, Global Wellness Institute, and Medical Tourism in Malaysia.”
Following this, Ms. Yen Yee Wong from BTL Industries Malaysia Sdn Bhd shared insights on “Exion-4 in 1 Endless Possibilities.” Dr. Masilamoney then provided a comprehensive update on the medical aesthetics industry and LCP guidelines, covering topics such as new updates to LCP requirements, legal exposure when working as a non-LCP doctor under an LCP center, suitable insurance options, and practice limitations before obtaining LCP certification.

After a lunch break and booth visit, Anna Karennina A. Talatala from Orient Europharma presented “The Anti-Aging Portfolio.” Elizabeth Tyra, Product Specialist at My CytoHealth Sdn Bhd, followed with a discussion on “Regenerative Medicine in Aesthetics: A Leap Forward or a Medical Hype?” A new exhibitor, Salam Healthcare Supplies, joined the Johor roadshow, with Mr. Charles Vincent presenting on advancements in portable cryo-surgical devices. Dr. Aly Stephen Nah concluded the scientific sessions with a talk on “Hair Treatment and Diagnosis: The Non-Transplant Way.” Â The event ended with an exciting prize giveaway of conference passes to AMSC Malaysia 2024 for three lucky winners.

At 4pm the delegates we dismissed to continue for further booth visiting. The exhibition area was bustling with delegates engaging with exhibitors, inquiring about innovations and products in medical aesthetics. The close-up look and direct contact with displays provided doctors with valuable information for their professional practices.
Through this second roadshow of AMSC Malaysia, the intimate setting facilitated valuable industry insights, networking opportunities, and educational sessions. This event laid a solid foundation for upcoming AMSC events in Malaysia and generated enthusiasm for this year’s major two-day conference and exhibition.
