Dr Tai Lai Yong
Dr Tai Lai Yong is a Consultant Ophthalmologist and Oculoplastic Surgeon with special interest in eyelid, orbit and lacrimal surgery, practicing in Pantai Hospital Kuala Lumpur and OasisEye Specialists.
Dr Tai pursued advanced sub-specialty training in orbit, oculoplastic and lacrimal surgery for both adult and children locally and at world-renowned institutions abroad. Dr Tai was awarded the Certification of Completion of Fellowship Training in Oculoplastic Surgery by the Ministry of Health of Malaysia. She was awarded the ICO Fellowship Award to pursue an Oculoplastic Surgery Fellowship at the Royal Free Hospital, London, United Kingdom. After that, she pursued an observership in orbit, oculoplastic and lacrimal surgery at the Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital, Melbourne. She then spent a year gaining knowledge and hands-on experience in cutting edge techniques during her Oculoplastic Surgery Fellowship at the Sydney Eye Hospital.
Dr Tai is a fully registered specialist with the National Specialist Register (NSR). She has served with the Ministry of Health for 16 years.
Dr Tai has vast experience in both general ophthalmology surgery, orbit, oculoplastic and lacrimal surgery.
