Dr Nguyen Thi Thu Hien
Dr. Nguyen Thi Thu Hien is an oculoplastic surgeon based in Hanoi, Vietnam, currently working at the Vietnam National Eye Hospital (VNIO) and serving as a lecturer at Hanoi Medical University (HMU). She is Vice President of the Vietnam Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (VSOPRS), a member of the Executive Council of the Asia-Pacific Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (APSOPRS), and a Standing Committee Member of the Women in Ophthalmology section of the Asia-Pacific Academy of Ophthalmology (APAO).
Her academic and clinical work focuses on oculoplastic surgery, plastic and reconstructive surgery and thyroid eye disease, with particular interest in innovation, personalized surgical approaches, and multicenter collaboration. Through active involvement in regional academic initiatives and international partnerships, she contributes to advancing modern oculoplastic practice in Vietnam while fostering cross-border collaboration across the Asia-Pacific region.
