Prof Yunia Irawati
Prof. Yunia Irawati, MD, PhD has been working for JEC Eye Hospitals & Clinics, Department of Ophthalmology, Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Indonesia – Cipto Mangungkusumo General Hospital (UI – RSCM), Jakarta since 2004, serving as Professor and consultant in Oculoplastic and Reconstructive Surgery. She educates medical students, ophthalmology residents, fellow doctors, and advanced subspecialty program participants.
Her clinical and research interests focus on eyelid & adnexa, orbital socket, lacrimal excretion system surgery, ophthalmic trauma, and ocular leprosy. She serves as Head of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Division at UI – RSCM; Head of Ophthalmic Trauma Service at JEC; and Head & Founder of KATAMATAKU-UI. She is President of Indonesia Ophthalmic Trauma Society (INAOTS), Indonesia Member Representative of Asia Pacific Ophthalmic Trauma (APOTS), Past Vice President of Asia Pacific Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (APSOPRS), and Past President of Indonesia Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (INASORPS).
