Dr Carl K.L. Cheng
Dr. Carl Cheng is a board-certified dermatologist in Taiwan and the founder and Chief Director of Haute Beaute Skin & Vein Clinic, established in 2006, and Haute Beaute International Skin Clinic, established in 2025, in Taipei. He graduated from Taipei Medical University and previously served as Chief of Dermatologic Surgery at Taipei Municipal Wanfang Hospital and as an attending dermatologist at Taipei Medical University Hospital.
He has a strong interest in laser, RF, and ultrasound technologies, as well as various injectables such as toxins, fillers, HA, PLC, PLLA, and PDLLA. He has also pursued advanced training in dermatologic surgery at the University of California, San Francisco; the University of California, San Diego; and Stanford University, with a focus on vascular and vein-related treatments.
He serves as a speaker and advisory board member for BTL, Cynosure Lutronic, Candela, Lumenis, Deka, Jeisys, and Classys. He also delivers lectures at international congresses such as IMCAS, ASLMS, AMWC, KOREADERMA, and the World Congress of Dermatology, and has trained many physicians worldwide in energy-based devices and injectables.
Dr. Cheng is a member of the Taiwan Society for Laser Medicine and the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery (ASLMS).
