Dr Henry Foong
Dr. Henry Foong is a Consultant Dermatologist and founder of Foong Skin Specialist Clinic in Ipoh, where he has been in private practice since 1995. He also serves as a visiting consultant at Pantai Hospital Ipoh, KPJ Ipoh Specialist Hospital, and Hospital Fatimah.
He received his medical degree from the University of Malaya and underwent specialist training in dermatology and genitourinary medicine in Malaysia, the United Kingdom, and the United States—including at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh, St. Thomas’ Hospital London, and Harvard Medical School.
Dr. Foong is an Associate Professor of Dermatology at Quest International University, Ipoh. He is the Founding Chair of the Dermatology Chapter, College of Physicians, Academy of Medicine Malaysia, and a Past President of the Dermatological Society of Malaysia. He currently sits on the Board of the Asian Academy of Dermatology and Venereology.
His areas of interest include laser surgery, inflammatory skin diseases, and dermatologic education.
