Dr Kavitha A/P R. Saravanamuthu
Dr. Kavitha Saravanamuthu is a dynamic Consultant Ophthalmologist and Oculoplastic Surgeon with a strong subspecialty focus in oculoplastic, orbital, and lacrimal surgery. She obtained her Master of Ophthalmology from the University of Malaya in 2017, followed by advanced fellowship training in oculoplastic, orbital, and lacrimal surgery in Malaysia.
A passionate clinician and educator, Dr. Kavitha’s expertise spans both functional and aesthetic oculoplastic surgery, with a commitment to delivering patient-centered, precision care. She is an active member of APSOPRS, YAPSOPRS, and MSOPRS, contributing to the advancement of oculoplastic practice at regional and international levels.
Dr. Kavitha plays a significant role in academic ophthalmology. She is a frequent peer reviewer for reputable local and international journals and has authored numerous scientific publications. Her dedication to education is evident through her roles as a facilitator and invited speaker at ophthalmology and oculoplastic workshops, as well as a certified trainer for ophthalmology residents, where she mentors trainees in both clinical excellence and research.
Beyond the clinic and classroom, Dr. Kavitha is deeply committed to community engagement. She actively participates in NGO initiatives, promoting public awareness, early detection, and education in eye health.
