Dr. Lee obtained his MBBS degree from the University of Malaya and initially served as a Medical Officer at University Hospital Kuala Lumpur before continuing his role as a Medical Officer in the Ministry of Health Hospitals. He later moved to the UK, where he served as a Senior House Officer in Plastic Surgery at St. Lawrence Hospital, Chepstow.

In 1990, Dr. Lee became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (FRCSEd) and later completed the Overseas Trainee Diploma in Plastic Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 1996. That same year, he was admitted into the Academy of Medicine.

During his training under the Royal College of Surgeons of England and the British Association of Plastic Surgeons’ Overseas Trainee Diploma in Plastic Surgery program, Dr. Lee held positions as a Senior House Officer at the Royal Preston Hospital and as a Registrar at Charing Cross Hospital, Queen Mary’s University Hospital, and St. George’s Hospital in London.

Dr. Lee is a member of the Malaysian Association of Plastic, Aesthetic, and Craniomaxillofacial Surgeons, the Oriental Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, and the Malaysian Medical Association. He is also a founding member and the first Chairman of the Asian Aesthetic Breast Surgery Council.

A renowned speaker at international medical conferences, Dr. Lee has presented numerous papers at both local and international conferences, as well as in medical journals and symposiums, on the latest advancements in aesthetic plastic surgery
