Dr Malavika Kohli
Dr. Malavika Kohli is a dermatologist and aesthetic medicine expert based in Mumbai, India. She is the Director and Founder of Skin Secrets and serves as a Consultant Dermatologist at Jaslok Hospital and Breach Candy Hospital. Holding MD, DVD, and DNB qualifications in Dermatology, Dr. Kohli has been actively involved in the advancement of aesthetic dermatology and medical education in India.
Dr. Kohli currently serves as the Scientific Secretary of IMCAS Bangkok 2025 and was the first GPAC Regional Faculty for Galderma India, Aesthetics. She has also been part of the Scientific Committee for IMCAS ASIA and serves as a board member of the Indian Acne Alliance. From 2009 to 2015, she was a DNB teacher at the Department of Dermatology, Jaslok Hospital and Research Centre.
Her academic contributions include authoring chapters in the IADVL Textbook of Dermatology and the ACSI Textbook of Cutaneous & Aesthetic Surgery, along with publications in journals such as Dermatologic Therapy, Frontiers in Medicine, Journal of Cosmetic Dermatology, and the International Journal of Research in Dermatology. Her work has covered topics including aesthetic practice during the COVID-19 pandemic, sensitive skin, sunscreen recommendations for Indian skin, and facial reshaping using threads in Indian patients.
Dr. Kohli has received numerous recognitions, including the Inspirational Dermatologist Award 2023 by Economic Times, the CME Dronacharya Excellence Award 2021, and recognition among the Top 10 Women Cosmetologists by Women Entrepreneur India. She has also been listed among the Top Doctors in Mumbai by India Today and recognized among India’s 50 Dermatologists by Aesthetic Medicine India. A dedicated educator and mentor, she has delivered over 300 national and international lectures and has a special interest in mentoring young dermatologists and curating scientific content for aesthetic events.
