Dr Purnima Rajkarnikar Sthapit
Dr Purnima currently holds the position of Head of Department of orbit, oculoplasty, ocular oncology and prosthesis at Tilganga Institute of Ophthalmology (TIO), Kathmandu, Nepal. She is the founder chairperson of Open Eyes Nepal, an NGO dedicated to eye cancer Retinoblastoma. She is also the executive council member of Asia Pacific Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (APSOPRS) since 2021.
Dr Purnima is the founder board member of Nepalese Society of Oculoplastic Surgeons. She is also a life member of APSOPRS, ISOO, Nepal Ophthalmic Society, Nepal Medical Association, All India Ophthalmological Society and Nepal Cancer Relief Society.
