Dr Shiho Watanabe
Dr. Shiho Watanabe is an Associate Professor in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Keio University School of Medicine, Tokyo, Japan. She obtained her MD from Chiba University School of Medicine and completed her residency and advanced fellowship training in plastic and reconstructive surgery at leading institutions in Japan, including Keio University Hospital and the National Tokyo Medical Center.
Dr. Watanabe is board-certified by the Japan Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and the Japanese Society of Gender Incongruence. Her clinical and academic interests include reconstructive microsurgery, lymphatic surgery, and gender-affirming surgery.
She has held academic and clinical positions at Keio University, Okayama University Hospital, and the National Tokyo Medical Center, and has received multiple awards for her research. Dr. Watanabe is an active member of several international professional societies and has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications in the field of plastic and reconstructive surgery.
