Dr Susan Cheong
Dr. Susan Cheong is a dual-licensed physician specialising in plastic and aesthetic surgery in both Mainland China and Macao. She is currently attending physician at Yinkui Hospital in Macao, where she provides advanced aesthetic treatments. She holds a Ph.D. in Medicine (Plastic Surgery) from Nanfang Hospital, China, with a research focus on plastic surgery and regenerative medicine. She is an active resident member of the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ISAPS) .
Beyond her clinical work, Dr Cheong serves as an International Medical Liaison at the Chinese Association of Plastic and Aesthetics (CAPA), where she leads international medical aesthetics livestreams and initiatives dedicated to fostering global knowledge exchange and professional dialogue in aesthetic and anti-ageing medicine. She has been represented in academic exchanges and training programs in the United Kingdom, the United States, France, Italy, Belgium, and Malaysia and more.
Dr. Cheong has published over ten SCI-indexed articles in international peer-reviewed journals and serves as a peer reviewer for international journals related to regenerative medicine. Her research focuses on biomaterial-based approaches in aesthetic and regenerative medicine, with an emphasis on clinical translation, safety, and the integration of international aesthetic principles with advanced medical technologies. She has been invited to present her work at major national and international academic conferences. She is also actively engaged in cross-disciplinary collaborations, working with scholars on research into the history of global medicine and the cultural differences in aesthetic perceptions between East and West—bridging science, medicine, and the humanities in her research and professional practice.
