Dr. Yong Shin Shen is a consultant dermatologist and internal medicine specialist at the Dermatology Unit, Faculty of Medicine, University of Malaya. In addition to providing dermatology clinics and consultations, he is actively involved in clinical research and medical education, teaching undergraduate medical students.
His clinical interests include hair and nail disorders, atopic eczema, cutaneous lymphoma, graft-versus-host disease (GVHD) of the skin, chronic urticaria, and psoriasis. He is currently a committee member for the development of the second edition of Malaysia’s clinical practice guidelines for psoriasis vulgaris.
Dr. Yong also has a special interest in laser medicine and currently serves as the laser medicine clinical lead at the University of Malaya Medical Centre.
