Dr M. Akbar Wedyadhana
Mohamad Akbar Wedyadhana, M.D., FINSDV, FAADV, IFAAD is a board-certified dermatologist - venereologist from Jakarta Indonesia with more than 15 years of experience in laser medicine, and aesthetic dermatology. He is currently the Medical Director of Senopati Skin Center, Jakarta, Indonesia, where he leads clinical practice with a strong focus on evidence-based aesthetic and laser dermatology. He also serves as an adjunct lecturer in cosmetic dermatology for Hasanuddin University, Makassar, Indonesia.
He completed his medical degree and residency in Dermatology and Venereology at Universitas Indonesia, and further advanced his training through the ASLMS Preceptorship Program in Nashville, Tennessee, USA. He has been a Fellow of the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery (ASLMS) since 2016, and is also affiliated with several international dermatologic societies, including the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD), European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology (EADV), and the European Society for Lasers & Energy-Based Devices (ESLD). He currently serves as President of Indonesian Society of Dermatology and Venereology (PERDOSKI) Jakarta Branch, and Vice President of Indonesian Dermatologic Laser Study Group (KSDLI).
He also active as a speaker, trainer and committee for national and international dermatology/aesthetic conference, including FACE ASEAN Bali, Indonesia 2023, KoreaDerma Seoul, South Korea 2025, ASLMS 24 Hours of Lasers & Energy Based Devices Webinar 2026, etc.
