Doctor Susanna Marini is an Aesthetic and Laser Specialist Doctor who trained in the United Kingdom and obtained her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from Queen's University Belfast. She currently works as an Aesthetic Physician and Laser Specialist at The Skin Doctors' Center in Trieste, where she performs a wide range of cosmetic treatments, from injectables to advanced laser dermatology procedures and minor surgery, working alongside Professor Leonardo Marini.

Dr. Marini has completed a Master's degree in Skin Ageing and Aesthetic Medicine at the University of Manchester, further strengthening her academic and clinical expertise in aesthetic dermatology, skin ageing, and evidence-based cosmetic medicine. She has presented and attended numerous national and international conferences and has been involved in educational and scientific activities within the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology.

She is an active junior member of the Cosmetic Dermatology EADV Task Force and has contributed as a tutor to teaching courses focused on lasers and photodynamic therapy. Dr. Marini is an eager learner and regularly attends advanced training courses to remain up to date with the most innovative techniques in aesthetic medicine and laser dermatology, including courses organised by ESCAD and ESLD.

In 2026, Dr. Marini was awarded the EBD Best Treatment Award at AMWC, further recognising her commitment to excellence and innovation in the field of energy-based devices and aesthetic medicine. She remains at the forefront of innovation and has contributed to peer-reviewed scientific publications in international medical journals.
