Dr Fazliana Ismail
Dr. Fazliana Ismail is a Senior Lecturer and Consultant Oculoplastic & Orbital Surgeon at Universiti Malaya. She completed her Oculoplastic and Orbital Fellowship in the Netherlands at Rotterdam Eye Hospital and msterdam University Medical Centre, specializing in complex oculoplastic and orbital conditions.
She is actively involved in medical education, serving as an Examiner and Interviewer for the Malaysian Masters of Ophthalmology Conjoint Board Examination and as Coordinator for the Postgraduate Ophthalmology Program at Universiti Malaya.
As a researcher, she has been awarded the Fundamental Research Grant Scheme (FRGS) twice by the Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE) and has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals.
Dr. Fazliana is the Treasurer of the Malaysian Society of Oculoplastic and Orbital Surgery (MSOPRS) and a member of the Asia-Pacific Society of Ophthalmic Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery (APSOPRS) and the Asia-Pacific Ophthalmic Trauma Society (APOTS), actively contributing to the advancement of ophthalmology in Malaysia and beyond.
