Dr Yoon Duck Kim
Dr Yoon-Duck Kim is a Director of Oculoplastic and Orbital Surgery Division at the Nune Eye Hospital and the Emeritus Professor of the Sungkyunkwan University School of Medicine in Korea. She was a chairperson of the Department of Ophthalmology at the Samsung Medical Center in Seoul, Korea.
She is a founding member and past president of the Korean Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (KSOPRS) and the Asia Pacific Society of Ophthalmic Plastic & Reconstuctive Surgery (APSOPRS). She is a member of the Orbital Society and a founding member and board member of the International Thyoroid Eye Disease Society.
She has published more than 250 papers in peer-reviewed journals on topics in oculoplastic and orbital surgery and has written several chapters of major oculoplastic textbooks. She received APAO Distinguished Service Award in 2017, and AAO Senior Achievement Award in 2018, ASOPRS Henry Baylis Award in 2023.
