Dr Nariaki Miyata
Dr. Nariaki Miyata is the director of Miyata Plastic Surgery & Skin Clinic in Shimbashi, Tokyo, a position he has held since 2004. He is a board-certified Plastic Surgeon and is well-versed in aesthetic dermatology. He has extensive experience in non-invasive and minimally invasive procedures, including energy-based devices, injectables, and thread lifts.
Dr. Miyata graduated from the National Defense Medical College and received his foundational training in plastic and reconstructive surgery at the same institution, including experience in the emergency department. He further advanced his expertise at Sapporo Medical University and Muroran City Hospital, and later served as Director of Toranomon Plastic Surgery and Skin Clinic from 2000 to 2004.
In Japan, he is one of the leading authorities in dermatologic lasers and is a well-known figure in aesthetic dermatology. His clinic is equipped with more than 40 types of lasers and energy-based devices. He delivers over 40 lectures annually, both domestically and internationally, on energy-based device therapies, injectables, and thread lifting techniques. He has also published numerous articles and books, many of which have been translated and distributed internationally, including in Korea.
Dr. Miyata is an active member of several professional societies, serving as a councilor of the Japan Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery and the Japanese Society of Aesthetic Dermatology, and is board-certified by the Japan Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
