10 June 2024 – The AMSC24 Sabah Roadshow took place at Le Meridien Kota Kinabalu, marking an unexpected and remarkable success. This third roadshow aimed at promoting AMSC Malaysia 2024 concluded on a high note, leaving participants enthusiastic and well-informed about the upcoming conference.
The lively and engaging atmosphere in the exhibition hallway complemented the informative talks in the hall.
The day’s event began at 9:30am with registration, breakfast, and networking, setting a lively tone for the roadshow. Attendees were welcomed by a committee member of the Malaysian Society of Aesthetic Medicine (MSAM), who delivered an engaging welcoming address. This was followed by an enlightening session on the variety of biostimulators presented by Dr. Chu Kooi Yen from MSAM. Next, Mr. Charles Vincent from Salam Healthcare Supplies discussed the latest advancements in portable cryo-surgical devices. Dr. Alice Goh of MSAM then provided a comprehensive overview of periocular assessment, highlighting essential knowledge for practitioners.
The vibrant exhibition hallway and the engaging discussions in the hall showcased the event’s dynamic energy.
The roadshow continued with a presentation by Dato’ Sri Dr. Vincent Tiew, Executive Director of Branding, Sales, and Marketing at KL Wellness City, who introduced The NOBEL Healthcare Park and discussed the role of the Global Wellness Institute and medical tourism in Malaysia. After a lunch break and booth visits, Dr. Aly Nah from MSAM addressed the pros and cons of PRP for hair loss, as well as potential advancements beyond PRP. Dr. Nicholas Lye of MSAM then detailed the TLC Approach (Total-Layer-Combinative) to treating acne scarring.
The event wrapped up with updates on the Aesthetic Medicine & Surgery Conference & Exhibition (AMSC) 2024 and 3 lucky draw winners gotten free delegate pass to actual conference later in September, followed by another round of booth visits before concluding at 4:00pm. The roadshow not only showcased significant advancements in aesthetic medicine but also built anticipation for the forthcoming AMSC Malaysia 2024.
